Chef-owner Aomjai Phumpardit built the small Mayfair space to feel like a canopied food stall pulled straight off Bangkok's Khao San Road, and the menu matches that street-food spirit by rotating weekly — there's no fixed menu to print, just whatever's cooking that week, announced exclusively through the restaurant's Instagram. NBC Chicago critic Kevin Pang calls it the closest thing in the city to the real Bangkok street-food experience, and the dishes that do show up regularly back that up: a proper boat noodle soup, khao soi, and pad kra pao that reads like it was built for a quick, intense lunch rather than a leisurely sit-down meal.

It's a genuinely different way to run a Thai restaurant in Chicago — less a fixed destination than a weekly event you have to follow online to catch.
