Monday Coffee Co

Food + DrinkNorth Lawndale · Coffee Community-sourced, unverified
📍 3243 W 16th St, Chicago, IL 60623

Monday Coffee Co opened North Lawndale's first stationary cafe on November 9, 2024, after founders Amanda Christine Harth and Felton Kizer spent years building the brand as a mobile and pop-up coffee operation before landing a permanent home inside the Starling community building on 16th Street.

$

The founders have talked openly about wanting to change how people experience Mondays — turning the start of the week into something worth looking forward to rather than dreading — and the cafe's run of national press (Daily Coffee News, CBS Chicago, AfroTech) reflects a real community-rooted opening rather than just another coffee shop.

It's a genuine cultural anchor for a neighborhood that's historically had very few sit-down cafe options.
