The kitchen runs small, medium, and large plates rather than a standard appetizer-entree split, and the specials reward regulars who show up on the right day -- Tinto Tuesday cuts 50% off every bottle on a wine list built around small-production, biodynamic bottles, while Wednesday brings the Burrito Suizo, a steak burrito finished with salsa ranchera and melted Alpenhorn Swiss.
The restaurant also runs the Todos Ponen Project and adds a 3% surcharge to every check specifically to fund employee health benefits. Closed Mondays.
