The breakfast sampler is the thing to order first — fuul topped with feta, berbere-spiced scrambled eggs, potato salad, and fitfit made from stir-fried kitcha, with French bread on the side — but the glass pastry case and gelato flavors up front make it just as easy to stop in for something smaller.
Owner Yirgy "Gigi" Meles opened the place in June 2023, and it's already carved out a specific niche on this stretch of Broadway: gluten-free-friendly, cafe-casual, and serving food that most Chicago cafes simply don't have on the menu.
