The food came from Sicilian recipes handed down through relatives who'd immigrated from Italy, and those same recipes are still the backbone of the menu three generations later, now run by Campo's son and grandsons. The city honored the family in 2018 with a street co-naming — Martin and Theresa Campo Way — at the corner nearest the restaurant.
The heated, covered patio is a real four-season asset, not a fair-weather-only feature. Closed for lunch most days; dinner-only Monday through Wednesday, lunch service added Thursday through Sunday.
