What hasn't changed is the actual business: handmade chocolates, nuts, and candy made the way a real confectionery still does it, not a mass-produced gift-shop shelf. It's since been picked up by Arway Confections and now ships nationally, but the Long Grove storefront remains the place to actually watch and taste what the brand is built on.
For a village whose whole identity runs on historic charm, a 50-year-old candy kitchen is about as on-brand as it gets.
