Happy hour is the best way in. Thursday through Sunday from 5 to 7pm, the bar pours a dedicated happy hour mojito — Caribbean rum and rhum agricole with makrut lime, acid-mint and bubbles — for $12, the rotating jungle juice for $10, a $6 phony negroni for anyone skipping alcohol, and every wine for $10. The food side is just as cheap: $7 tiger fries under tiger sauce, bonito flakes and furikake, $10 vada pav (spiced potato croquette sliders), a $10 whipped paneer dip, an $11 'ferrani special' of sesame-gochujang chicken nuggets, and the halal-beef rawr burger with miso garlic aioli and smoked gouda for $15 instead of the usual $23.
Outside happy hour, the full list runs deep on Japanese whisky and sake, gobi manchurian and a chettinad masala built around coconut and curry leaf, with an optional THC simple syrup add-on for the curious. It's open Thursday and Sunday until 10pm, Friday and Saturday until 11pm, with weekend doors at 3pm; closed Monday through Wednesday. It sits right where Wicker Park runs into West Town.
