Kozy took over a former Greek restaurant space in downtown Libertyville and turned it into a modern Korean spot with a full bar, from owner Jay Lim — who also runs Naomi Sushi in Arlington Heights and trained at Le Cordon Bleu Chicago after moving from South Korea in his late 20s. The menu leans comfort-food-forward with American and Western touches folded in: dumplings, fried chicken, and bulgogi all get reviewer praise, but the Korean pancake is the one dish that keeps coming up as the actual favorite.
