Grey's Social Kitchen

Iconic/NotableOak Forest (suburb) · American Community-sourced, unverified
📍 5420 W 159th St, Oak Forest, IL 60452

Grey's Social Kitchen is a genuinely personal project — named for owner's son Greyson, with a gray-and-yellow color scheme carried through the space — built to split the difference between a family restaurant and a bar scene.

$$
An Oak Forest bar and grill named after the owner's son, running live music (blues, jazz, acoustic, R&B) several nights a week alongside build-your-own burgers.

The build-your-own-burger format and non-bread pizza options give it real menu flexibility, but the standout is a live music calendar running several nights a week across blues, acoustic, jazz, and R&B, a programming commitment well beyond the occasional-open-mic version most neighborhood bars offer.

For Oak Forest, it's become a genuine community gathering spot built around both food and a real live-entertainment identity.
