The pancakes remain the headline order, but the menu reaches further than breakfast basics — blintz-style crepes filled with a four-cheese blend and dusted with powdered sugar, and a Mexican Pepper Steak built on ten ounces of Certified Angus Beef sirloin with sauteed peppers, onions, and tomatoes, served alongside Spanish rice, refried beans, warm tortillas, and a mini quesadilla — a genuinely hefty plate for a diner known mostly for its stack of flapjacks.
Golden Nugget's broader footprint has shrunk over the years (a Lincoln Square location closed in 2022), which makes this round-the-clock Diversey location feel like even more of a holdout — the kind of place a 3am diner craving actually has somewhere to go.
