Folklore is the Wicker Park outpost of a genuine Chicago Argentine dynasty — the same family has run Tango Sur in Lakeview since 1996, and has since expanded into Folklore, Bodega Sur, Barranca, and the Southport grocery counter El Mercado, all under one roof of relatives rather than a franchise model.
