Easy Does It took over the old East Room space in Logan Square — a late-night staple that shut down in December 2019 — and co-owner Zack Eastman turned it into something with a split personality: half retail wine shop, half full-blown wine bar, spread across two floors with a patio big enough to anchor the whole operation once the weather turns.

Downstairs reads more like a bottle shop you could actually browse; upstairs is the real bar, with high tables, wooden booths, and the kind of room that absorbs live music or a restaurant pop-up without missing a beat. The drink list leans natural wine, local beer, cider, and seltzer, but it isn't precious about it — Esquire's own coverage points out you can order a Miller High Life just as easily as a negroni built from mostly local ingredients.

The real find here is the happy hour: The Infatuation flags an $8 glass of wine or cocktail, a genuinely good price for a bar this wine-forward, though neither the exact days nor the start and end times turned up anywhere in research — worth confirming with the bar directly before building a night around it. Price-tier sources disagree (Time Out calls it $$, Infatuation says $$$$); the $8 happy hour and the Miller High Life mention both point toward the more casual end, which is what's used here.
