DMK Burger Bar

Iconic/NotableLakeview · American (Burgers) Community-sourced, unverified
📍 2954 N Sheffield Ave, Chicago, IL 60657

DMK Burger Bar earned its Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives feature (Season 12's 'Slammin' Sammies' episode) the hard way: its founders spent a full year traveling the country researching top burgers before opening this Lakeview spot in November 2009.

The 'Duck & Cover' sandwich — featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives Season 12 ('Slammin' Sammies')

The Duck & Cover sandwich became enough of a signature to earn its own write-up, and the restaurant has held its place as a reliable, well-regarded burger destination in a neighborhood with no shortage of competition for that title.
