The dish doing the most work on its reputation is a Parisian gnocchi riff — Swiss cheese, ham, and a runny egg yolk, essentially a croque madame reimagined as gnocchi — which earned it a spot on the Chicago Sun-Times' best-things-eaten-in-2025 list.
