The menu covers sandwiches, salads, steaks, and chops, but reviewers consistently single out the fried chicken and the Bloody Marys as the house specialties worth building a visit around — the kind of dish-and-drink pairing that's stayed on the menu because it works, not because nobody's updated it. Ratings run strong across the board (4.4 to 4.7 depending on the platform, with a 432-review sample on the largest one), though it's fair to note some recent reviews flag inconsistent steak quality and decor that could use an update — the kind of honest texture that comes with four decades of continuous operation rather than a recent renovation.
