Carnivale opened in 2005 as a Latin-fusion destination in the West Loop and has since hosted more than 4.1 million guests across 22,000-plus private events, 960 weddings, and nearly 300,000 birthdays — a genuinely large-scale operation, not a boutique restaurant that happens to do events.

Flavors span Argentina to Colombia to Brazil rather than one country's cuisine.

Weekday happy hour (Tue-Fri 4:30-6:30pm) runs cocktails, wine by the glass and beer at reduced prices rather than a single flat deal; closed Mondays. Reservations via Tock; a 3% surcharge is added to every check in place of raising menu prices outright.
