Cabra is Stephanie Izard's rooftop restaurant on top of The Hoxton in the West Loop — the fourth Chicago concept from the first woman to win Top Chef and a James Beard Award winner for Girl & the Goat, opened in 2019 after Girl & the Goat, Little Goat Diner and Duck Duck Goat.

The food is Peruvian-inspired (ceviches, small plates built for sharing, skyline views from a pool-deck patio), and the menu flags gluten-free and celiac-safe dishes in real depth rather than marking a token few. The happy hour here is called Grazing Hour, and the timing shifts through the week: Monday and Tuesday from 4 to 6pm, Wednesday through Friday from 3 to 5pm. The restaurant bills it as discounted bites and drinks — spicy sticky wings and pork belly sliders on the food side, pisco sours leading the cocktails — and it's the cheapest way to spend an evening on one of the West Loop's best rooftops before dinner prices kick in.

Lunch runs Wednesday through Friday from 11am to 3pm, weekend brunch Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 3pm, and dinner from 4pm nightly (until 11pm Friday and Saturday). Reservations are recommended, especially once the weather turns and everyone in the neighborhood wants the same patio.
