That ladder-climb shows up in the menu's refusal to pick one lane: Mayan eggs benedict, cinnamon hotcakes with apricot glaze, and a genuine four-cuisine mashup of Mexican, Greek, Korean, and Mediterranean flavors running through what's nominally a breakfast menu, alongside sandwiches, salads, and tacos served seven days a week. Mejia has since expanded into a second concept, Big Hill, which he also owns.
The original North Park spot at 3348 W. Bryn Mawr is the one with the real neighborhood-institution pace -- get there before 9:30am or expect a line -- and it's since been joined by Ravenswood and Belmont Gardens locations, with the newer Ravenswood spot open daily 7am to 3pm.
