Hospitality Included, the team behind Adalina, put Michelin-starred chef Soo Ahn in the kitchen and built the menu around a live-fire hearth that does double duty: hearth-fired skewers and a 40-ounce tomahawk on one end, specialty sushi rolls and a tzatziki-salmon maki on the other. That Mediterranean-Japanese split shows up across the menu — caramelized miso cod next to a za'atar-butter filet, grilled octopus next to branzino — and the room backs it up with two outdoor terraces that look straight down Lake Michigan.
It's an expensive night out (FineDiningLovers pegs it in its top price bracket), and reservations move fast enough that most accounts point you to the restaurant's own booking page over a walk-in. No happy hour or discount turned up in research — ARLA reads as a special-occasion room, not a deal destination, and that seems to be the point.
