Clark has said publicly that he believes Ukrainian food deserves a Michelin star of its own, and Anelya (in the former Wherewithall space, two doors from Parachute on Elston Avenue) is built to make that case: modern-meets-traditional dishes heavy on root vegetables, oily fish, and naturally fermented, slightly sour ingredients, alongside dumplings, noodles, and zakusky small plates. The drink program backs up the mission with house-fermented kefir in spirit-forward cocktails, an all-Eastern-European wine list, and a spirit-free kvass.
It's already been named to the Michelin Guide's 2024 recommended list, and in September 2025 Time Out crowned it the #1 restaurant in Avondale — ahead of Parachute itself.
