It's equal parts bar, restaurant and game room: 15 professional Butterfly ping pong tables, regulation beer pong on solid-wood tables with steel cups, shuffleboard, and 'Ping Pong X,' a set of AI-tracked interactive games you can only play here ($10-12 per person per table). The weekday happy hour leans proudly Chicago. Tuesday through Friday from 4 to 7pm, the kitchen does an $11 Italian beef pizza with spicy giardiniera, $10 mini Chicago dogs dragged through the garden with sport peppers and neon relish, a $9 big baked pretzel with beer cheese, and $9 charred shishitos, while the bar pours a $10 rotating martini, $6 house spirit and mixer, $5 drafts and $7 house wine.
It's an easy after-work move for a Loop office crowd, and cheaper than a round at most nearby bars. AceBounce is closed Sunday and Monday; it opens at 4pm Tuesday through Thursday, 3pm Friday and noon Saturday. Tables can be booked for groups of 2 to 12, and bigger events are a big part of the business.
